Terms of Use

Français · English

These terms govern your use of the Broccolist mobile application and the broccolist.be service (together, the “Service”), operated by QJP Consult, Belgium (“we”, “us”).

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Optional AI processing requires a separate choice in the app.

2. The Service

Broccolist lets families plan meals, vote on them, and share grocery lists that update in real time. Downloads from the App Store are additionally subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it solely to operate the Service (for example, syncing your list to your family members' devices). We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.

6. Availability & changes

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim for high availability but give no uptime guarantee.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QJP Consult is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service, including loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Belgian law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

Broccolist Plus and Apple subscriptions

Ordinary groceries, saved recipes and manual meal planning are free. Optional Plus adds AI assistance, Sparks, occasions and public shopping links for one Broccolist household. Household access is separate from Apple Family Sharing. When Plus ends, ordinary saved recipes, groceries and manual planning remain available; Sparks and occasions are retained with restricted access, and public shopping links stop working.

Before purchase, Apple displays the local price, billing period and any eligible introductory trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel through Apple subscription settings; use Restore purchases in the app when needed. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Your household shares 8 assisted meal plans, 60 cooking assists and 30 generated illustrations per monthly allowance period. Annual subscriptions use the same monthly allowances; an eligible trial includes one allocation. The app shows usage and the next reset. A delivered usable result consumes a unit even if discarded. Failed requests without a usable result do not consume an allowance unit. Reopening or applying the same result does not consume another unit. Unsaved results remain available for seven days. A partial meal plan consumes one plan unit; eligible completion within 24 hours does not consume another, and Undo does not refund it. Technical request limits may temporarily restrict further requests.

AI processing needs separate permission and generated content must be checked before use. Deleting your Broccolist account does not cancel an Apple subscription or stop Apple renewals. You can delete without cancelling first. Deleting the purchasing account ends its household's Plus access immediately; a newly created account cannot automatically restore the purchase linked to the deleted account. See account deletion.
